STAMINA INSTRIDE PRO REVIEW
The Stamina InStride Pro Electronic Stepper is a compact piece of equipment which is small enough to allow you to work out in the comfort of your own home without taking up too much space. It comes with a generous warranty, is reasonably priced and offers a higher level of resistance than similarly priced steppers. However, that isn’t to say that it’s perfect- there are a couple of things that could be improved upon.
HIGH LEVEL OF RESISTANCE
The InStride Pro stepper does not come with adjustable resistance (see Any Complaints); however, the resistance level is high (thanks to the two hydraulic cylinders), and provides you with a challenging workout, whatever your fitness level may be.
You can, therefore, burn calories at a faster rate and add more definition and tone to your thighs, calves and core muscles without needing to have a very quick stepping motion.
A shock resistance system has also been included for a smooth workout; and wide, textured foot pedals for added stability.
Steppers tend to be popular, not only because they are cheap but also because they are typically quite small in size. The InStride Stepper is one of the smallest on the market, measuring 16.25 x 12.25 x 12.25 inches, so you can take it to the office or on vacation to get a quick workout in. When not in use, you can place it in a closet, under a table or under the bed for clutter free storage.
It is good to see that the Stamina InStride Pro Electronic Stepper comes with an electronic monitor which displays calories burned, exercise time, number of steps and number of strides per minute, as many other steppers in this price range do not come equipped with a monitor.
One of the biggest complaints with exercise equipment is the time it takes to assemble the machine. Fortunately, this stepper is simple to assemble, and you do not need any tools to do so. Within 5 minutes you should be able to start working out.
This stepper comes with a 1-year frame and 90-day parts warranty.

Despite its low price, the InStride Stepper has been very well received, with users stating that they like the ease of assembly, the fact that a computer monitor has been included, as well as the effectiveness of the workout. However, a couple of users have complained about a squeaking noise, as well as the resistance.

There are a couple of things to complain about. Firstly, the machine makes a slight squeaking sound the first few times you use it. However, the sound diminishes the more you use it, and applying a bit of WD40 practically eliminates the sound.
The other thing that users have complained about is that there is no adjustable resistance. However, the standard level of resistance should be challenging enough for most, and almost all steppers in this price range do not come with an adjustable resistance feature. If you really want a stepper with adjustable resistance, then check out the Xiser Commercial Portable Stepper.
ANYTHING ELSE YOU SHOULD KNOW?
If price and ease of use feature in your decision making process, the Stamina InStride Stepper is hard to beat. It is cheap, offers a good workout and is also easy to set up.
As it falls into the budget stepper category, it lacks features that can be found on more expensive, advanced steppers. However, if you just want an inexpensive piece of equipment that offers a good workout, the InStride stepper is a good choice.
