HCI Fitness PhysioStep RXT-1000 Recumbent Elliptical Trainer review details below:-

The HCI Fitness PhysioStep RXT-1000 is widely considered to be the best recumbent elliptical on the market. While it’s true that not many manufacturers of elliptical trainers have put out recumbent models – meaning that competition is less fierce – it would be disrespectful to say that HCI have not achieved this status without merit.

However, just because the RXT – 1000 is considered to be the best recumbent model around, this does not necessarily mean that it is right for you. You may be better suited to another model. While only you can decide, take a look at the following review to help you make a better, more informed decision.

The PhysioStep allows users to choose from three styles of exercise, including a full body workout, a workout dedicated to the lower body and an upper body workout that is achieved through the use of the axis and multi-grip hand rails.

The machine is equipped with 16 resistance levels and 12 built-in workouts, which means that whether you are young or old, fit or unfit, you will still be able to enjoy a workout that is in line with your goals.

The 12 built-in workouts are more than what the vast majority of other elliptical machine manufacturers equip their machines with, and we found that the workouts are not only fun, but also do an excellent job of helping you to stay motivated.

The ergonomically designed seat includes an adjustable sliding positioning system and oversize adjustment lever, making it one of the most comfortable elliptical trainers on the market. It is also very stable thanks to the seat being manufactured from non-slip material.

The large footplates ensure that users are able to glide with ease, and although optional, it is recommended that the provided Velcro straps are used, as they do an excellent job of securing foot positioning.

The display on the HCI Fitness PhysioStep RXT-1000 is purposefully oversized for easy readability. The display monitors everything an exerciser could want, such as distance, time, speed, pulse, watts, RPM, heart rate (through the contact heart rate grips and built-in heart rate receiver) and the number of calories burned.

The RXT – 1000 is relatively simple to set up, especially if there is another person to assist you. This is primarily because the machine is very well-designed, but also because of the clear, detailed instructions that are provided in the manual. Set-up should take no longer than 30-45 minutes.

This elliptical trainer comes with a lifetime frame, 3 years mechanical and electronic parts warranty.

The RXT-1000 has received very positive reviews since its release, with reviewers stating how comfortable the machine is to work out on and how effective the workout is. Some users also mention that the construction quality is excellent. Surprisingly, we couldn’t find a single complaint, which attests to this elliptical’s quality..

As mentioned, we were unable to find any complaints. However, if we were being really picky we could say that it is a tad on the expensive side, although this is the norm for such a well-built, reliable elliptical trainer. One more thing to add is that the stride runs at 12”, which may be too short for some.

There isn’t much else to add. All you need to know is that the HCI Fitness PhysioStep RXT-1000 is a top of the range elliptical trainer that is suitable for all ages and fitness levels. You should also note that this elliptical trainer is self powered, which we feel is a nice touch and is refreshing to see.

The machine can deal with a lot of usage, as it is primarily purchased by hospitals, health clubs, gyms and physical therapy clinics, but many units have also been sold for home use.
